Volcano Chilli

Volcano Chilli

Volcano Chilli is a new venture for Chris and Rosie Jagger and he has started it in Lincoln’s Central Market just a few weeks ago.

From there stall they sell an impressive range of chilli products including fresh chillies – Naga, Scotch Bonnet and Ring of Fire when in season, and an extensive range of sauces from the mild, Bee Sting and Smokin’ Dragon, to the hot Dave’s Ghost Pepper, Black Widow No Survivors and Hot-Headz 2nd Assault through to the extreme Blair’s 2am and 3am and Dave’s 2009 reserve.

For those of us who like to snack, they also stock the Blair’s Death Rain Crisps, the Ass Kickin range of snacks and Dave’s Gourmet Popcorn as well as Chilli Chocolate and fudge.

They are working with the local Environmental Health office so they can get a licence to make their own range of products; Chris is very keen to put flavour over heat to produce a real gourmet range of local produce.

So if you are going anywhere near Lincoln, please visit them or you can visit their web site or follow them on twitter .

Note: Chris has recently published this first article for the ChileFoundry about home smoking chillies using a ProQ Smoke Generator.
