The First Nottinghamshire Chilli Festival is being held at the Cranmer Arms Country Pub, Main Street, Aslockton, Nottinghamshire,  NG13 9AL.

The event will be taking part in the extremely large beer garden, there will be 25 stalls selling a variety of chilli products, there will also be a large beer marquee in the garden selling a wide variety of beers including the Brewsters chilli beer (which is infused with the Infinity chilli from Fire Foods).

The chilli eating competition is to be hosted by Dave Morris and Woody from Fire Foods

The Event starts on Saturday between 11am – 6pm and continues on Sunday between 11am – 6pm but no beer can be served until 12 o’clock.

The admission prices are as follows; Adults £5 and Children (5 – 15) £2-50

As part of the Southport Food and Drink Festival 2011 the organisers have added Southport Chilli Day on Friday 13th May.

The Event has spaces for up to 12 producers and retailers and is being held in the Festival Pavilion is on Lord Street, the event is free for visitors.

Another date for your diaries is the Peppers by Post/Seasprings Seeds open day.
