Another on-location review as they go stateside to try a mainstream chilli sauce from Nando’s. This time we try the Peri Peri Medium sauce, so how do we like it?

The Oxford Dictionary records that ‘Piri Piri’ is a foreign word meaning a very hot sauce made with red chile peppers and ‘Peri Peri’ is the South African term for piri-piri.

Ingredients: Water, White Vinegar, Onion (11%), Salt, Lemon (4%), Vegetable Oil (Sunflower Seeds), Serrano Chilli, Spices (including African Bird’s Eye Chilli), Garlic, Stabilisers (Xanthan Gum, Propylene Glycol Alginate) & Antioxidant (Calcium Disodium EDTA).
