Melinda's Extra Hot Sauce

Melinda's Extra Hot Sauce

Here we are again my chilli heads after making a recovery after my last review. And today I’m trying Melinda’s Original Habanero Pepper Sauce, EXTRA HOT SAUCE. I’ll be honest, this would not generally be my first choice of product to choose judging by the label. Floral design with Melinda (No idea who she actually is though) staring at you in a rather calming appearance. Does not really fit the image of a EXTRA HOT SAUCE but you never know until you try the sauce and the whole package comes together. Other than that the bottle is quite tidy in the way that the white background and top blend extremely well with this peachy coloured sauce.

Ingredients: Choice Red Habanero Peppers, Fresh Carrots, Onions, Lime Juice, Vinegar, Garlic, and Salt.

Getting the vibe of a possible sweet sauce here so lets crack this open. Immediately I am greeted by a familiar Habanero and vinegar aroma. Lovely fresh pepper smell that is mild but stronger enough to remind you there is some good quality peppers in here. Lets have a taste.

The sauce has a slight pulpy texture to it and eventually comes out of the bottle. Very soft texture with a subtle hint of sweetness from the lime and a whole load of flavour from the Habanero’s. Not what I would call an extra hot sauce but it definitely has a nice warmth to it. No carrot flavour from this sauce as its all really about the Habanero. I would recommend this for the chilli head that is looking for a sauce that would cover most foods. From use as a dipping sauce all the way to being used as marinating meat. I’m actually thinking about making a cheese sarnie right now and putting a load of this in it, yummmmm. Very versatile sauce with plenty of flavour. One to be enjoyed by all.

Sauce kindly provided by www.hot-headz.com for the usual peanuts that you are charged. Only £3.99 a bottle, you can’t go wrong so get your orders in. Make sure you put on your order that you read this review and I’ll promise to send you nothing in return haha

Until next time guys, if it burns going in, it will burn coming out.
