If you haven’t yet come across The Bath Pig, your really are missing on a treat! They make gorgeous and tasty chorizo products that the whole family can enjoy – and they taste great in almost anything!

The Bath Pig Mini Chorizo Snacks (Piglets)

So, new to The Bath Pig product selection is the “mini chorizo snack pack” – informally known to me and my family as “piglets”! The description on the packaging describes them as cured pork sausage blended with smoked paprika and spices, which is exactly what they are!

Ingredients: pork, salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, paprika extract, garlic, sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate.

The first ingredient is pork, of course, and it is high quality british pork from farms that are approved by Freedom Food according to RSPCA standards, meaning the piggies had happy lives, which is brilliant!

There is a perfect amount of seasoning in these little chorizos, just enough to give you a little spice on your tongue, and the taste of smoked paprika taking charge over your entire mouth. The smoked paprika is also the initial smell when you open the bag, really inviting you in and making you want more!

They are wheat, gluten and dairy free, so do not fret if you suffer from allergies, you can still enjoy these tasty treats!

This isn’t a particularly spicy or hot product, but it is rich in flavour and really tasty!

These snack packs would be great as part of a lunch box or picnic. You could also chop them up and add them to other things like cheese on toast, sandwiches and toasties, pasta, salad or rice! You could use them simply chopped or chopped and fried in a little oil, both ways taste amazing!

These little chorizos come in a small purple bag weighing in at 70g – perfect size for a snack! The packaging clearly states what it is you’ll be eating and the fact that its british. The packaging is easy to read and understand and tells you a bit about the company and the sources of your products! These little snack packs are currently not available online, but they can be bought from a stockist and you can find your local stockist on the bath pig website!
