This is the third Year for this growing event, last year 2500 people turned up, this year they will be ready for you..

Upton Cheyney Chilli Company ChilliFest 2011

Last year was a great family event, this year it all starts at noon on the Saturday (10/09/2011) and is  looking like being even better with more stall and entertainment, we won’t miss it, and the kids will love it.

  • Enjoy Chilli Tasting Session with Matt Simpson of Simpson Seeds
  • Listen to Chilli Expert Michael Michaud of Sea Spring Seeds
  • Browse the Chilli Market Stalls
  • Ride a Pony
  • Meet the farm animals
  • Bouncy Castle and Slide
  • Enjoy a Cider at the bar.
  • Cake and a Cuppa from the farm shop
  • Live music
  • Chilli Eating Competition
  • Evening Music Festival (7pm – 11PM Ticket Only)

  • The Upton Cheyney Chilli Company (delicious sauces from the farm)
  • Hot Headz (extreme hot sauces, peanuts and crisps)
  • Lilys Chillies (pottery)
  • Bath Door Stop (Chilli themed door stops)
  • Bath Pig (Spicy Chorizo)
  • Stoke Gifford Spices (Spices for blending)
  • Bart Spices (Bristol’s very own spice company, now growing chillies at Manor Farm)
  • Aunty Jee’s (Curries and sauces)
  • Redwolf Vodka (Chilli Vodka and cocktail bar)
  • Simpson Seeds (seeds and books)
  • Sea Spring Seeds (seeds and plants)
  • Caroline’s Jewellery (Lovely local jewellery with some chilli inspired gems!)
  • The Scrump Project (community project, pressing local apples and pears)
  • Wood Turning (traditional wood turner)
  • Pottery Making (traditional pottery making)

Schedule of Events:-

1.00pm – Chilli Talk with Michael Michaud – Hyper Hots
2.00pm – Chilli Eating Contest – Hosted by the ChileFoundry’s own “Darth Naga”
3.00pm – Flaming Feathers Dancing Girls – performing the Can-Can and Charleston and a chance to join them on stage!
3.45pm – Fire Eating with Circus Malabarista’s

Open throughout the night – 7pm – 11.30pm – strictly tickets only.
BBQ, Bar, Farm Shop Restaurant.

7.00pm – Capones – Local band covering bands such as The Stereophonics, Kings Of Leon and The Beatles
8.15pm – Los Mercanarios – Salsa/Latin/Funk Band
8.30pm – Fire Eating with Circus Malabarista’s
9.30pm – Journey Up The Wood – Local covers band
11.30pm – close
