Mr Filbert's Sweet Chipotle Mixed Nuts

Mr Filbert's Sweet Chipotle Mixed Nuts

Chipotle has always seemed to me one of the most interesting flavours, and we now even have UK chilli business growing and smoking their own, and according to the packaging these Chipotles (Smoked Red Jalapeños) and grown and smoked over oak chips in the UK.

In the pack are a mix of Peanuts, Almonds and Cashews, with Peanuts making up the largest part of the mix, but they have not been mean with the others, as you can see below.

The Nuts

The Nuts

Not only are the nuts coated with Chipotle Chillies but also Dorset Honey, Garlic, Sea Salt, Black Pepper and Coriander leaves

The nuts are crunchy and well coated, but the Chipotle flakes, seem not to have always stuck very well with a lot of them having dropped to the bottom of the pack, the flakes are quite large this may be why they have been knocked off.

Ingredients: Roasted Nuts (Peanuts 43%, Almonds 22%, Cashews 22%) Demerara Sugar, Garlic, Sea Salt, Chipotle Chilli, Honey, Rapeseed Oil, Black Pepper, Coriander leaves.

The flavour once I have added the missing flakes of Chipotle is excellent, the heat is not extreme, but pleasantly warming with a nice touch of smoke.

A 75g bag cost £1.79 and can be purchased direct from Mr Filbert’s Web site www. mrfilberts.com
