Belfast Chilli Fest 2011

Belfast Chilli Fest 2011

Some news for you all… ChilliFest, Belfast is moving from September and will now be rearing it’s flaming head on the 25th and 26th of June 2011 – with Ireland’s only hot Chilli Pepper eating competition and a host of high profile bands (last year we had Hayseed Dixie).

A mere £5 entrance fee gives visitors access to the Cajun Cafe, various stalls bursting with vintage fashion, a record fair, Strictly Come Barn Dancing, Rock ‘n’ Roll Cookery Demos, Vintage hair styling and beard grooming, Cupcake Corner AND some fabulous outdoor bars! This year the site will be bigger which will allow us to exceed last years 6,000 visitors.

In previous years festival friends Chilli Pepper Pete, Scorchio and Dry River Chillies have helped us celebrate all things spicy. ChilliFest is a ‘festival within a festival’ which runs as part of Open House Festival (www.coorsopenhousefestival.com). If you’d like more information about Ireland’s only chilli festival contact amy@openhousefestival.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
