Project Spice C4 Hot Sauce

Project Spice C4 Hot Sauce

Project Spice is a new Chilli Sauce business created by Dave Tidmarsh in Dawlish, Devon, he has so far created three sauces, C4 is the mildest of the three.

All of Dave’s sauces contain NO artificial colours or flavourings and are made with 100% natural ingredients, the sauce is orange colour, with a smooth slightly thickened consistency with no discernible lumps and bumps .

On opening you get a lovely sweet smell the Onions, Mango and Cumin, with just a little hint of the vinegar, first taste and there is a slight sticky sweetness from the mango and the sugar, which is soon overtaken by the warmth of the chillies, then Cumin and Ginger to finish.

Ingredients: Mixed Chillies, Onion, Vinegar, Mango, Sugar, Water, Garlic, Tomato Paste, Chilli Powder, Cumin, Ginger and Salt.

Bottle kindly supplied by projectspice.co.uk

The Cumin and Ginger provide an interesting flavour combination with the sweetness of the Mango, this would be great as a condiment, I have poured some over some boiled rice for lunch and it works very well, the heat is not going to blow you head off, and you can taste the flavours of the other ingredients.

It would also work well added to cream cheese as a dip, the sweetness and the spices used would make this an irresistible dip.

The sauce comes in a square profile 125ml bottle and can be order on-line for £4.99 per bottle (Excluding Delivery),  it is well with buying all three and tasting them along with us.

Note: Dave has reduced the prices of his sauces from £4.99 to £3.95 to order visit –  www.projectspice.co.uk (4/8/2011)
