Original Juan - Honey Cayenne Hot Mustard Sauce

Original Juan Honey Cayenne Hot Mustard Sauce won a Great Taste Award in 2004 and the combination of Honey and Mustard is a classic combination for sauces and dressings, for me Cayenne chilli has a bit of a unique flavour, with tones of black pepper to it, I can normally spot it a mile away, so it will be interesting to try this sauce .

On opening there is a strong smell from the Mustard and Honey and Vinegar, it’s a lovely sweet aroma, and very similar to a salad dressing. The sauce taste sweet and slightly sticky with just hints of Cayenne, but there is not much of the peppery taste I was expecting, while it has a little warmth it’s not at all hot, with most of the flavour is from the Honey and Mustard, the Mustard being the first flavour with the Honey and then the Olive oil.

Ingredients: Honey, Mustard (Distilled Vinegar, Water, Mustard seed, Salt, Turmeric, Paprika, Spices, Garlic powder), Hot Sauce (Pepper mash, Vinegar, Salt, Xanthan Gum and Garlic), Olive Oil, Cider Vinegar, Orange Juice, Corn Syrup, Garlic, Xanthan Gum and Spices.

Bottle kindly provided by www.scorchio.co.uk

This would be great added to a salad dressing, or poured over chicken wings like a wing sauce, it is thick and sweet enough to stick to almost anything. You can order this sauce from Scorchio in a larger 191ml bottle for £4.99

Its not a hot sauce as I would describe it, but it won’t last long in our house

Where can I buy this in Southern California, USA? I bought some in Tombstone Arizona but had it confiscated when I tried to get on an airiplane. Loved it.
