Fired Up Foods Smokin ChipNuts

Just in from Stuart at Hot-Headz is a new coated nut product from Fired Up Foods in Canada, these are just flavoured peanuts, they are coated in a crisp potato shell which also carries the flavouring.

Coated nuts is nothing new I hear you say, we have had them in our local for years, but these nut are different, they have a real flavour, not just a salty jacket. When I first popped one of these in my mouth and cracked open the shell, the flavour bursts out, this has a really good Smokey Chipotle flavour, much more heat than I expect from a Chipotle product.

Ingredients: Peanuts (peanut oil), dehydrated potato (potatoes, mono and diglycerides, sulphites, sodium acid phosphate, BHA and/or BHT), modified potato starch, rice flour, maltodextrin, modified corn starch, chipotle chile powder, tapioca dextrin, corn starch, salt, dextrose, spice, sodium bicarbonate, yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, aytolysed yeast, soy sauce (soybeans, wheat, salt), corn gluten, wheat gluten, silicon dioxide (manufacturing aid).

Packet supplied by www.hot-headz.com

They are very very moreish, and very soon the packet is empty, they come in an 85g (3oz) bag and at £2.49 a bag, they are not cheap, but they blow away big brand coated nuts.
