Some of you like me will love Mexican food, even if around this part of the world (Yeovil Somerset) there is a bit of a lack Mexican resturants, well there is a new Blog just about one of my favourites forms of Mexican street food Tamales.

To quote the site a Tamale is “A Tamale is a steamed dough bun made from cornflour (masa) and lard, which can be filled with meats, cheese, beans or vegetables. They are traditionally steamed wrapped in a corn husk (which isn’t eaten!).”

The blog is new and so far is covering restaurants and suppliers, hopefully they will run an article on home to make them at home..

If you get a chance go and take a look at http://tamalespotting.blogspot.com/
