WhyNotHot's Last Laugh

WhyNotHot's Last Laugh

A good friend of mine whom I have known for many years was recently chatting to me about the many times he and I have tried some of the hottest products known to man and lived to tell the tale..It then dawned on me that this man is one of the only other people I know as STUPID as myself and thus it was decided he would help me do a few video reviews, this is one of those reviews!

The sauce we tried in the video is one from a company based in Wales for whom I did a video review of one of their other majorly hot sauces, so this company is no stranger to the way I do my thang! Its been a fair while since I reviewed “Whynothots” “Unhinged” sauce so I decided now would be a good time to review another of the sauces they gave me, this one is a little hotter than the last, and to be honest even the bottle looks scary!

Ingredients: Water, Scotch Bonnets, Vinegar, Bhut Jolokia Chillies, Bhut Jolokia Powder, 6.4 Million Scoville Extract, 1 Million Scoville Extract, Salt, Xanthan Gum (stabilizer)

(Review bottle kindly supplied by www.whynothot.co.uk)

Soooooooo as you can see by the ingredients list, theres not much in this sauce but chilli’s and extract, and because of that and the high water content you’d think there was’nt much flavour to “Last Laugh”, but BOY would you be wrong! The sauce itself comes in a standard 150ml bottle and has a homemade label attached to it, the label is very nice but I think it would have looked better and more professional with a glossy label. The label itself explains where the company originates from, shows the name of the sauce with a laughing skull in the background and also gives a handy heat guage on the side!

The sauce itself is quite watery, but don’t let that put you off! This is the perfect sort of suace to be added to stir fry and curries etc as its very easily absorbed into whatever you are cooking and laso stirs in much easier than thicker sauces do, I wonder what would happen if you used this sauce as a base for a fiery marinade?? Anyway, as for flavour and suchlike please take a look at myself and Binbagz eating this stuff!

So there you have it, although the extract taste is present in this sauce, it is well dealt with and almost complemented by the vinegar and scotch bonnets and I think this is a very well made sauce that Whynothot have put their hearts and souls into making! I don’t think you could go far wrong this summer if you went ahead and grabbed a bottle of this, marinaded some nice steak and chicken breast in it, then blew the top off the barbecue (and your friends heads!) by serving them both up with a nice cold beer, trust me you’ll need them!

Get on over to www.whynothot.co.uk and grab a bottle now, while you’re there grab a bottle of unhinged as well, its the perfect thicker pouring sauce to enjoy alongside this one!

Until next time chilefanz, may the sauce be with you…always!
