Montezuma’s Chilli & Lime Milk Chocolate

Montezuma’s Chilli & Lime Milk Chocolate

This was initially a limited edition created for the West Dean Chilli Festival, it did so well that it has now become a permanent member of the range.

This comes as a smart cardboard box inside is a bar or 4 X 6 blocks of extremely smooth chocolate, it does all the right things as far a quality chocolate goes, the surface is smooth and it melts on the tongue, the first flavour is the lime, carried on a wave of the most yummy milk chocolate.

At first the chilli flavour is a little muted, but as the chocolate melts the lime is replaced with the gentle warmth of the chilli. This is not an extreme heat, not even hot or mild, it is just delicious.

Ingredients: Organic Sugar, Organic Cocoa Solids (34%), Organic Whole Milk Powder (22.5%), Organic Ground Chilli (<1%), Organic Vanilla (<1%) & Organic Soya Lecitchin. Natural Flavouring: Lime Oil (<1).

Montezuma’s was founded by Helen and Simon Pattinson in a small shop in Brighton, they have expanded a bit since then, with their products being sold in supermarkets, I picked this bar up in Waitrose.
