Men purchase chilli four times more than women reports AUSVEG as part of Australia’s Vegetable Industry Development Program, I guess that is comes has no real surprise, it seems to be mostly men I deal with when reporting for this blog.

“Males showed a strong preference for seasoning products such as onions and chilli, females purchased more than twice the amount of mushrooms, broccoli, pumpkin and lettuce than males” says Hugh Tobin Communications Manager at AUSVEG.
