As I open it I get a smell of sweet tomatoes, this sauce has is a nice thick consistency, it pours beautifully from the bottle, with the required tap on the base to get it moving.

Ingredients: Water, Tomato Paste, Sugar, Glucose, Red Habanero Pepper, Salt, Starch, Acetic Acid, Garlic, Citric Acid, Onion Powder, Ascorbic Acid, Cinnamon, Clove.

The initial taste is from the tomatoes, which is then followed by the fruity flavour from the Habanero’s, the cinnamon and cloves add well to the overall flavour. While not has hot as I had expected, this went down very well with my bacon sandwich, and I suspect it will not last long in our kitchen.

The heat does build a little, but the sweetness keeps this down an easily manageable level, a bit of warmth from the food increases the heat and flavour from the sauce, compared to many of the  supermarket Hot Ketchups I have tried and reviewed, this is truly excellent and will be part of my Saturday fried breakfast routine.

This sauce will be available from Hot-Headz web site in the next few days, it is expected to retails for £2.99
