Based in Witney in Oxfordshire, The Holy Cow Food Company, is a fast growing business. The recipes for the sauces have been developed from Kiran Bhandari family recipes, originally manufactured in their kitchen, they soon had to move production to a small unit in Witney and then with a £300,000 deal from ASDA production is now based in Birmingham.

Born in New Delhi Kiran moved to the UK in 1970 and ran a successful business with her Husband Sarvjit, in 1998 she began teaching cooking classes to adults at schools around Oxford. The students loved the sauces and they soon realised there was a gap in the market.

Daughter Anu joined the business and started approching the big supermarkets and very quickly secured a deal with ASDA, now there range of sauces in available nationwide through ASDA stores.

The sauces are free from artificial colours, preservaties and flavours and are suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans as well as being Gluten free.

The range is currently:-

Spicy Monsoon Mango Sauce – Mango and Spices Sweet and Sour sauce
Spicy Bombay Ketchup – A Spicy Chilli Ketchup

We have a couple of sauces in our schedule to review, so we will soon let you know how they taste.
