in General Information

Leading up to the  Firey Food Event in Brighton the organisers are running a number of special event to find a chilli eating champion.

The first round  they start you off gentaly with a Whippet’s tail, then a Jalapeno, then a Yellow Cayenne, at this point they will have lost any wimps, then it is on to the  Long Thai followed by a Nepali Orange. Now comes the Big Guns the Dorset Naga, then for the survivors the final round is the ChilliPepperPete Naga

At each venue 2 finalists are selected to go on to the final which is being held at the Fiery Foods UK Festival at the Victoria Gardens on the 19-20 Steptember.

Contestants will have to sign a disclaimer that you are of sound mind and body and are willingly taking part.  You accept that the organisers bear no responsibility for any pain that may result from eating stupidly hot chillis.
