Nandos Hot Peri Peri Crisps

Nandos Hot Peri Peri Crisps

Made in the UK with UK Potatoes They are described as “….a crisp crunch of crisp, a delicate blend of lemon and garlic, a warm, gentle tingling on your lips, and a seriously hot kick in the back of your mouth….”

Well I have to say I agree, on opening the packet they smell fresh, they have a good even colour as the flavouring has been well spread, the initial taste is truly of lemon and garlic, then peppery and finally warming in the back of the throat. They are nice and crisp and crunchy, thick enough to dip, and tastly enough not to be over powered by it.

These crisps follow the Nando’s style with lemon and garlic the major flavours, very enjoyable and warmer than expected for a mainstream product. Available from most major supermarkets.

I got this packet from Tesco’s for £1.56 for a 150g bag, seems like good value

Potatoes, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Maltodextrin, Icing sugar, Spices (Cayenne pepper, Paprika, Peri-Peri (Birds Eye Chilli)), Herbs (Parsley, Thyme), Sodium acetate, Citric acid, Hydrolysed vegetable protein, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Lemon juice powder, Spice extract (Paprika, Capsicum), Ribonucleotides (E631 & E627), Chicken flavour, Lemon oil, Garlic oil.

These are a real surprise, I can see me sitting on the patio with a cold beer finishing the complete packet.

Note: These are Gluten Free
